About
Dr. Keila Muñiz has extensive training in urogynecology and reconstructive surgery. Her expertise includes diagnosing and treating pelvic floor disorders, stress and urinary incontinence and uterine prolapse. Dr. Muñiz’s research interests mirror her clinical practice and include identifying risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunction and creating interventions to improve knowledge of pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Muñiz is bilingual in English and Spanish and is passionate about global health, having participated in surgical gynecologic trips to El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Muñiz strives to provide quality and compassionate care to women. She empowers patients to actively participate in their care in order to create an individualized treatment plan.
