AWAKE (Sleep Disorders)
AWAKE is an educational support group for people with Sleep Disordered Breathing that is open to the general public.

Bariatric Surgery
A support group for those who have had bariatric surgery at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital or elsewhere.
Please Note: The April 18th Bariatric Support group meeting will be held at Fleet Feet in Dewitt located at 5800 Bridge Street, East Syracuse. The meeting will be 6:30 PM to 8 PM and allow for browsing the store, one on one session with coaches as well as shoe fittings.
Meeting date and time: Every third Wednesday of every month, 6:30 p.m.
Meeting place: St. Joseph's Health Care Network Building, 7246 Janus Park Drive (off Taft Road), Liverpool, NY, Conference Room A (2nd floor). Please park in cardiopulmonary patient parking section.

Breast Cancer
Effective immediately, the Breast Cancer Support Group (which has met at the hospital weekly for 20 years) will no longer meet at the hospital. The current members will continue to meet, however do so in one of their homes.

Breast-Feeding
For women who are breast-feeding and returning to work or school.
Meeting date and time: Every third Wednesday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

ICD
A support group for individuals who have had an internal cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implanted to control cardiac arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms) and their family members. It is open to anyone in the community who has an ICD or an AICD (automatic internal cardioverter defibrillator) implanted. For more information, call 448-6442.
