Dr. Semel always seems like he is in a hurry. Also, I don't feel he really listens to me. There are quite a few times I've thought about trying to find another doctor, but my PCP keeps saying he's the best. I just don't feel he's taking care of my problems or answering my needs.

Traveling 6 hours for this follow-up to have Dr. Semel look at my incision for 15 seconds and say looks OK. I had requested a virtual meeting and was told no we can't do that. YIPES!!!

He was called out for an emergency surgery & we were going to be seen by the PA, but he was back from surgery & saw us himself, all without a very long wait time.

My care was exceptional. I just feel the Dr. / Surgeon needs to talk and discuss the pre-op and post op results better. I am very confused as to what was done and why the intial problem was not taken care of.

Dr. Semel can in quick didn鈥檛 explain much and walked out the door. Sometime later a nurse came in and did what the doctor told her to do. It was all rush rush. I understand being busy; but have some kind of compassion for the patient.
