With the plethora of details I forgot to request a Certificate stating I was Clear to travel. If needed I will request the same at a later date.

I still have the experience resonating from last winter and the unplanned and unexpected exposure to COVID, and how lese fair that was treated. So, this exam being just a routine exam, i didnt ask questions about any of my conditions, didn't ask about any post cancer testing/monitoring that should be done. (Thyroid cancer was 5 yrs, and breast cancer 3 yrs.) Not like it was 50 and 30 yrs post, im still fairly fresh, and know im supposed to have some sort of post cancer monitoring. But, since PCP is not going to do anything and understand my individual uniqueness of especially thyroid cancer, and treat me as an individual, ill look elsewhere for that end of care. I did inform Dr Loomis the area of my neck that everyone has been brushing off as swollen salivary glands are in fact lymph node nodules. I informed him of the incidental finding of an ovarian cyst. Gave him a report on my hand crush accident from last winter, and then my up coming spine surgery. Dr. Loomis did pick up on this and said id need a pre op visit. I dont feel i can have a relationship with Dr.Loomis, where i can talk to him about my concerns, like i used to with my old PCP who retired when i had my thyroidectomy. I do not like this new way of patient care, where allowed only 10 minutes of the Drs time.

It was fine. I was there for a check up and a refill on a controlled substance that is prescribed for flying. I get the refill once a year 10 pills at a time. I was a little surprised that the nurse was asking me about it before the doctor came in. She asked if I ever tried anything other than the medication and what that was. Innocent I'm sure but as an individual in recovery for the past 35 years, it seemed rather personal. She has no idea the amount of energy I put into other options before finally trying the medication which works well for me.
