St. Joseph’s Hospital recognizes there are many things to consider when you are going to be a patient and expects that you have many questions. This section of the website is designed to help address some of those questions and provide you guidance in your journey as a patient in our hospital.
Patient Relations
St. Joseph's patient relations representatives provide information and support to patients and visitors, and assist with patient concerns and issues. To contact patient relations, call (315) 448-5559 or send an e-mail to patient.relations@sjhsyr.org .
As part of our continuing efforts to “listen to the voices of those we serve, our sisters and brothers,” St. Joseph's is conducting focus groups to solicit feedback from patients and/or their family members. These groups will meet periodically to discuss the patient experience related to various topics. If you are interested in receiving more information about this, please email patient.relations@sjhsyr.org. Be sure to include your name and contact information.
Private Rooms
Our goal is to provide as many patients as possible with private rooms. Research shows private rooms help create a healing environment. Many of our rooms have daylight streaming in through tall windows overlooking the city of Syracuse. They are quieter and allow families to spend quality time with the patients, helping them get better more quickly.
Wi-Fi
St. Joseph’s Health provides free wireless internet access to patients and visitors to use with their personal notebooks, laptops, and other Wi-Fi mobile devices. Wi-Fi is available in all common public areas and patient units throughout the hospital and our facilities.
