St. Joseph’s Health Welcomes Primary Care Physician

SYRACUSE, N.Y.— (April 27, 2022) St. Joseph’s Health is pleased to announce that Abigail Tillman, MD, has joined St. Joseph’s Physicians Primary Care. In her new role, Dr. Tillman will work alongside a team of diverse and experienced professionals who have a strong passion for providing community-based care.

Abigail Tillman, MD, joins St. Joseph’s Health after two years of providing Primary Care to the Central New York Community with another practice. Before that, Dr. Tillman provided inpatient and outpatient care at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health of New England, in West Hartford, Mass.

Dr. Tillman earned her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, and her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University. In 2017, she completed her residency at Middlesex Hospital, a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, in Middletown, Conn.

Dr. Tillman is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

“I enjoy family medicine because I like the variety and can provide care to all ages and multiple family members,” said Dr. Tillman.
